Letter from Food Service Manager Kathi Espinoza
Dear High School Parents:
On Wednesday, August 25th, the Timothy Christian cafeteria will begin using a computerized system which will accept advance payments on your child’s account for meals and a la carte items.
We think you will appreciate the convenience of sending a check/cash to Kathi Espinoza, Food Service Manager in the cafeteria and having it deposited into your child’s account to cover a week or month of cafeteria purchases. The time spent in line to pay for lunch will be shortened and you will no longer need to give your child cash each day. However, if you prefer, your child may still pay cash for cafeteria purchases.
Each student will soon be given an individual PIN number to access their account when paying in the cafeteria during break and lunch. Please stress to your child that this number is confidential. However, as added security the cashiers are able to view your child’s photo when the PIN is used.
Students must have a positive balance to use their account. The cashiers will notify the students when they are approaching a balance of zero. Purchases may not be made until a deposit is put in their lunch account.
There will be a table set up during Book Sale hours, August 17th and 18th with information regarding our system. We will be accepting deposits into your child’s lunch account during that time as well.
If you have any questions, please contact Kathi Espinoza at espinoza@timothychristian.com any time.
Thank you,
Kathi Espinoza
Food Service Manager
