2.6.08:  Video Contest Winner:  The White Sox

Congratulations to the White Sox team for winning the first annual 8th grade visitation day video contest.

The White Sox dominated the competition, with 1834 views in the month of February.  Perhaps the biggest draw to the video was student Glynn Chatmon completing an impressive 45 consecutive pushups.

Congratulations are also in order for the Diamondbacks and Cubs for finishing 2nd and 3rd with 535 and 326 views respectively.  Meanwhile, the Titans team video was the highest rated video by the end of the month.

The winning team members all receive a gift card to the fast food restaurant of their choice, as well as the recognition of their efforts in promoting their video.

The White Sox team was led by Timothy Junior Xavier Owens. The team members were Staci VanderNaald, Naomi Bradley, Hope Zigterman, Timothy Wiener, Nolan DuBois, John Troxel, Elizabeth McKay, Gregory Bullock, and Glynn Chatmon.  Congratulations and great work!

2.6.08:  Video Contest Explained

All 14 teams from 8th grade visitation day created a team video as a team-building exercise. With each team-member's permission we've loaded these videos onto YouTube and embeded them in our website.  Click on the team's logo to check out their video.

Here's the contest: the team video that has the most views by the end of February wins. Every participant (including high school leaders) of the winning team will get a Chipotle Burrito on us.

Our apologies to the Bears team- your video camera was damaged- and the video can not be recovered. This just isn't your year, Bears!
