God has used Timothy greatly in my Christian development. First of all, God used Timothy as a hand of compassion.  When Becky and my parents died, when we were in grade school, the Timothy community rallied around us.  My family and I were encouraged the way faculty, fellow students, and alumni attended the wakes and funeral services, offering support and encouragement.  It meant so much to me, seeing teachers actually shedding tears over the pain that we were going through.

Secondly, God has used Timothy as a hand of involvement.  As an example, I remember getting an assigned seat on the bus.  When I arrived home, my grandparents already knew about it!  I couldn’t hide anything.  Hey, this sounds like a family.  That Timothy family involvement has carried on through school and into my adult life through, friends, supporters, and mentors. We had Timothy alumni supporting our ministry before we were even a 501c3, which means no tax receipt.  Now that’s amazing!  Even now, most of our support comes from Timothy alumni.

Third, God has used Timothy as a hand of academic training.  Through God’s great provision, by His people, Timothy has had the tools it needs in faculty, administration, and the best technology possible.  These tools have helped me gain the skills I need to find information, process it, and then communicate it, which is very important as a ministry leader and pastor.

Last of all, God has used Timothy as a Spiritual Seed planting hand.  From the time I first started attending in 3rd grade till my High School graduation, spiritual seed was constantly being sown in my heart.  Examples of this sowing are George Bosman wings sings, Bible classes, chapels, and the Christian world view taught by all of the teachers.  This world view shouts out “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof”!  God’s Word says that His Word will not come back void!  I believe that much of the fruit bore by my family, Lampstand Ministries, and me personally has been a result of all that spiritual seed that was planted in my heart through Timothy Christian Schools.
