Banket Day - November 3, 2011
Banket Day is an annual event. Volunteers from the Timothy Community help to make this Dutch, almond filled pastry in November during Parent-Teacher Conferences. The Banket strips are assembled but not baked, so they can be put the freezer until a fresh baked treat is needed. Volunteers help to prepare the ingredients the evening prior and assemble it on 'Banket Day'.
BANKET - Are you ready for the holidays? Do you have your banket ordered? Now is the time! Banket will again be sold frozen and unbaked in a package of 3 strips for $18.00. It will be made and ready for pick up on Thursday, November 3, from noon until 5PM at the Timothy High School Cafeteria.

HELPERS NEEDED - Willing hands are needed to make banket dough & paste on Wed, Nov.2 6:30PM. - 9:30PM. and on Thurs. Nov.3 beginning at 8:00 AM to assemble banket. Please call Joyce Hoogstra 708-562-0148 or email jhoogstra@sbcglobal.net to volunteer.
