Banket Day
Banket Day is an annual event. Volunteers from the Timothy Community help to make this Dutch, almond filled pastry in November during Teachers' Conferences. The Banket strips are assembled but not baked, so they can be put the freezer until a fresh baked treat is needed. Volunteers help to prepare the ingredients the evening prior and assemble it on 'Banket Day'.
