I’m excited about serving on the Board because I can apply my talents in the service of the Timothy body and in the process become more integrated into the Timothy community.

In addition to my deep analytical and financial expertise and the ability to communicate those concepts in a simple, concise way, I also bring significant experience in management and in particular, managing and effectuating change.

As a board member, I think my primary responsibility is to help foster an environment that enables the faculty and Timothy community achieve its mission.  I understand that the primary means by which this occurs is through committee work with other board members, faculty and the administration. I look forward to being an active participant in this process.

Raised in suburban Detroit, I am a product of a Christian high school education (Southfield Christian High School).  I hold a BBA from the University of Michigan and a MBA from the University of Chicago.  I primarily studied accounting, finance and statistics.  In short, I’m a number cruncher.

I am currently a Vice President at CRA International, and head of its Chicago office.  CRA is an international economics, finance and business consulting firm. I have 20 years of experience serving as an expert witness and consultant in a wide range of litigation matters. Much of my work over the last 10 years has focused on evaluating damages in the context of antitrust and intellectual property disputes.  I’m also a Certified Public Accountant.

My wife Tyra and I married in 1993 and we have four children - Mackenzie 12 (6th grade), Kaleigh 9 (3rd grace), Cary 6 (K) and Jack 3.  Our three daughters currently attend Timothy.  We live in Hinsdale and attend Trinity Presbyterian, a PCA church which follows the Reformed Christian tradition and which we helped plant several years ago along with several other families.  In addition to serving on ministry teams, I help shepherd our church with several other elders.
