High School Academic Support Program

Ms. Laura Jackson supervises our Academic Support Program which provides assistance to students who have documented learning disabilities and the necessary skills to succeed.

We offer support and accountability as well as promoting a personal link between the student and the classroom teacher.  Depending on each student’s disability, he/she may receive personalized help during his/her scheduled guided study, extended time when taking tests or specific classroom accommodations.   If a student does not have a diagnosed learning disability and is struggling in a specific class, he/she can request a peer tutor through our Peer Tutoring Program which is supervised by Ms. Jackson .  The forms can be found on the wall by the office or by simply clicking on the links below.

A student may receive accommodations on standardized tests (PLAN, PSAT, ACT, AP) but must apply prior to taking the test.  Ms. Venhuizen will help students with the request process.
