College Fairs & Seminars for the 2011-2012 Year
Fairs & Seminars at Timothy:
Senior Parent/Student College Night- Monday, September 12, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. This program will focus primarily on what colleges are looking for in the application process. A panel of college representatives will share their insights and time will be permitted for questions and answers.
Junior Parent/Student College Night- Thursday, September 19, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. All juniors who are considering attending college after high school are encouraged to attend this meeting. A step-by-step sequence of activities necessary for the college bound student will be discussed, and questions will be addressed concerning the college decision-making and application process.
Christian College Fair- Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the gym.
Approximately 50 of some of the top Christian colleges in America will be represented. The fair will include a financial aid workshop, and all families with juniors or seniors are encouraged to attend.
Financial Aid Seminar- Tuesday, January 11, 2012 (tentative) at 7:00 p.m. in the choir room
This seminar is run by Calvin College and will focus on financial aid and scholarships available for any college bound student, regardless of what college one is attending.
