Driver's Education Opportunities
Although Timothy does not offer driver's education classes at the school, we are in partnership with Willowbrook High School in Villa Park and York High School in Elmhurst to make this service available to our students. As we receive updates from these schools or from other area public school driver’s education programs, we will publish this information here.
Willowbrook - Summer 2010
Willowbrook High School’s summer driver education dates have just been released: June 14 through July 9. Absences are not allowed. Pending an administrative decision in early March at Willowbrook High School, the cost of the behind-the-wheel portion may be raised by $50 to $150. That final decision will be posted when it becomes available. In the meantime, all Timothy Christian freshmen will be pre-registered during the week of Feb. 22 to make them eligible at a future date to take drivers education at Willowbrook High School. If parents choose to enroll their child privately or through any other public high school program, they may certainly do so of their own initiative. At a later date, more specific information will be released regarding actual registration for the summer 2010 drivers education program at Willowbrook High School.
