Rebecca Caudill Young Readers Awards - 6th, 7th & 8th Grade

 

This annual award will be given to one of the books listed below.  This award process is designed for students throughout the state of Illinois.  Participating students will be able to vote for their favorite book from this year’s nominees in February.  This award is used as a reading incentive here at Timothy with the goals listed below. 

READING GOALS for 6th, 7th & 8th

  1. Read 3 of the nominated titles. This qualifies a student
    to be a voter in February.
  2. Read 11 of the titles. This qualifies a student to both
    vote and attend the Caudill Pizza Party in March. 
  3. Read 15 of the titles. This qualifies a student to vote,
    attend the Caudill Pizza Party and receive an ice cream sundae for dessert.
  4. Read 20 of the titles. This qualifies a student to vote,
    attend the Caudill Pizza Party, receive an ice cream
    sundae, and go on the Bookstore Shopping Spree
