Personal Profile
I grew up in Cedar Grove, Wisconsin, the son of Brian and Kathy Gesch. I "married up" to the lovely Stephanie Day, a Timothy Alum. Today, we live in Westchester with our beautiful daughter Sawyer and our (usually) happy son Xander. We are members of Elmhurst CRC.
I love sports. I'm the head men's varsity soccer coach at Timothy. I've been a White Sox convert since 2001, and I will never lose my allegiance to the Green Bay Packers. I've been on the Packers season ticket waiting list since I was 9. I'm scheduled to receive the tickets when I turn 73.
Professional Profile
I graduated from Trinity Christian College in 2004 with a B.A. in Elementary education. My first job at Timothy was as a 5th grade teacher. During this time I saw first hand how amazing Timothy is.
I guess that's one of the reasons that I enjoy my job as Director of Marketing. I want to make the amazing Timothy experience available for as many Christian families as possible.
I just completed my Master's degree from the University of Phoenix in Business Administration. It's amazing how God works. Iin college, I was never sure if I wanted to be in education or business. I now find myself called to a business position for an educational institution! Praise the Lord for his faithfulness!
Philosophical Profile
I am living proof that that Christian Education works. I went to Oostburg Christian grade school, Sheboygan County Christian High School, and Trinity Christian College. I then taught for two years at Timothy. I know first hand that there is no replacement for the Christian teachers, guides, and mentors that a Christian school has to offer.
As for Timothy, I know that there is a place for all Christian families here, and that's why I'm pleased to be in this position. I'm excited to see where God leads Timothy in the future, and how many new families can become a part of the Timothy community.
