Girls JV Basketball - 2011-12

Saturday, Jan. 28 - at Timothy - Fenton 21 / Timothy 20
Kaitlyn Gehrke led the Trojans with 8 points and Kacie Stoll had 9 rebounds as the JV girls dropped a conference game to Fenton.
Thursday, Jan. 26 - at Timothy - Timothy 24 / Walther 18
Maty Huisman led the Trojans with 7 points, Mackenzie Bone added 5 points, and Kacie Stoll had 6 rebounds as the Trojans defeated their rivals from Walther Lutheran.
January 24 - at Elmwood Park - W-35-20
The JV girls jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the 1st quarter and never looked back as they won their non-conference game at Elmwood Park. Kacie Stoll led the Trojans with 15 points and 3 steals. Kaitlyn Gehrke added 11 points and 7 rebounds, Mackenzie Bone filled the stat sheet with 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals, and Lauren Estelle played great defense and also had 3 rebounds and 2 steals for the JV girls.
January 21 - At Timothy Holland Christian 37 / Timothy Christian 22
Kacie Stoll led the Trojans with 7 points and added 3 steals. Kaitlyn Gehrke chipped in with 5 points.
January 17, 2011 - at Timothy Chicago Christian 32 - Timothy 31
Timothy Christian lost a hard fought game vs. their rivals from the south side on Tuesday night. The score went back and forth until Chicago Christian took the lead in the final minutes. Timothy had some shots to take the lead but could not get any to fall and came up a point short. Maty Huisman led the Trojans with 9 points. Kacie Stoll added 7 points and 4 blocks, Alexis Hoogendoorn had 6 points, and Amanda Temple chipped in with 5 rebounds and 2 assists.
January 7, 2012 - at Timothy
Timothy Christian 32 / Illiana 21
Timothy Christian avenged an earlier loss to Illiana as they stormed out to take an 8 point lead at the half, increased it to 18 points after 3 quarters, and then held on as Illiana fought to come back. Alexis Hoogendoorn led the Trojans with 10 points and 5 steals. Mackenzie Bone added 8 points, Kacie Stoll had 4 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocks, and Kaitlyn Gehrke added 4 points and 2 blocks for the Trojans.
1/6/12 at Ridgewood - W-22-15
Timothy started out slow again but came back strong in the 2nd and 3rd quarters to take the lead and then held on for a win at Ridgewood. Kacie Stoll led the way with 6 points. Mackenzie Bone had 5 points and 6 rebounds. Amanda Temple had 4 points and 4 rebounds, and Alexis Hoogendoorn played some great defense and had 5 steals for the Trojans.
1/4 vs. Lisle - W-23-15
The JV Girls struggled in the first half and were down 6-3 after two quarters. They came out and outscored Lisle 10-2 in the 3rd quarter on their way to an 8 point victory. Mackenzie Bone led the Trojans with 3 steals and 7 points, including converting 5 of 6 free throws in the 4th quarter. Kaitlyn Gehrke chipped in with 6 points, and Alexis Hoogendoorn and Lauren Estelle had 4 points each for the Trojans.
JV Girls' Basketball Tournament - Dec. 27-30 at Lisle High School
Dec. 27 - Wheaton Academy 22 / Timothy Christian 13
Juliana Stremler led the Trojans with 5 points
Dec. 28 - Timothy Christian 30 / Fenton 22
Kacie Stoll, Kaitlyn Gehrke, and Juliana Stremler all had 5 points for the Trojans. Stoll had 6 steals and Lauren Estelle had 4 takeaways. Mackenzie Bone and Alexis Hoogendoorn provided strong defense for the Trojans.
Dec. 29 - Timothy 29 / Lisle 17
Kaitlyn Gehrke led the Trojans with 8 points. Juliana Stremler went 6 for 6 from the free throw line, and Kacie Stoll chipped in with 5 in the victory.
Dec. 30 - Mt. Assisi 36 / Timothy 21
Alexis Hoogendoorn led the Trojans with 8 points, including 2 3-pointers, Mackenzie Bone had 4 steals, and Maty Huisman played some aggressive defense and was strong on the boards for the Trojans.
12/15 at Riverside Brookfield - L-43-19
Kacie Stoll had 8 points and Lauren Estelle had 4 rebounds for the Trojans.
12/13 at Immaculate Conception - W-28-26
Timothy Christian was led by Amanda Temple who poured in 16 points, including a 6 for 8 performance from the free throw line. Kaitlyn Gehrke chipped in with 5 points and a strong defensive and rebounding presence inside. Mackenzie Bone, Alexis Hoogendoorn, and Lauren Estelle provide very strong defensive play from the guard positions.
12/10 vs. Ridgewood - W-30-29
Timothy Christian trailed by 6 in the second half but fought back and took the lead in the 4th quarter on their way to their first conference win. Kacie Stoll led the way with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Mackenzie Bone and Juliana Stremler chipped in with 7 and 4 points, respectively. Alexis Hoogendoorn led a strong defensive effort with 4 steals.
12/8/11 at Illiana - L-19-16
In a hard fought game, Timothy trailed by 7 going into the 4th quarter. The girls battled back to within a point late in the game but could not overcome Illiana.
12/2 vs. Glenbard South - L-35-29
Kacie Stoll led the Trojans with 11 points. Alexis Hoogendoorn added 6 points. Amanda Temple led the Trojans with 7 rebounds and Lauren Estelle had 3 steals.
