Girls' Varsity Season Comes to an End

The Lady Trojans season came to an end last night at the hands of PSL foe Walther Lutheran.  The girls played extremely hard and fought back from a couple of different deficits, but could not overcome the final difference in the game of 36-32.  Walther was able to make a few key baskets down the stretch and Timothy did not, that was pretty much the difference.  A great all around game from Shannon McNeil with 11 points, 8 rebounds, 2 blocks and 3 assists.  Both Candace Wieringa and Lindsay VanderBrug contributed 7 points.  A hard fought battle to say the least and the Lady Trojans played well enough to win, but just came up a little short.  Thank you to the three seniors: Lindsay VanderBrug, Candace Wieringa and Kelly Buma for outstanding leadership and God-fearing qualities that you have impressed upon us all.  We love you and God Bless.
