Academic Clubs - Scholastic Bowl & WYSE

Scholastic Bowl

Scholastic Bowl is an interscholastic academic competition that covers every area of Timothy’s high school curriculum.  The competition format is much like the game show Jeopardy, requiring broad knowledge and quick responses.  Timothy currently has Freshmen/Sophomore and Varsity teams.

Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering

Worldwide youth in Science and Engineering (WYSE) students from Timothy compete against students from other schools on written tests.  Each team member specializes in two of the following seven categories:  Math, Chemistry, English, Biology, Physics, Drafting, and Computer Science.  Students who do well earn medallions and the opportunity to advance to the Regional and State levels.  Timothy has been represented at the state level in previous years and has done extremely well in WYSE.
