I’m exited about the opportunity to serve and be a part of shaping the education of not only my children, but of all the children who attend Timothy Christian School. Also, helping to formulate long range strategy and plans that will ensure the on-going success of Timothy for years to come is a calling not to be taken lightly. I want our children to have the best education, with a Christian perspective, that is possible.
I currently work for Consorta, Inc., a Catholic Health Care Alliance of over 500 hospitals, as the Vice President of Member Services. My business career has given me the opportunity to develop strengths in the areas of leadership, strategic and tactical planning, vision and mission development and implementation, as well as organizational strengths in operations. I would be honored to have the opportunity to use some of my gifts to oversee and help further develop Timothy Christian Schools.
I see the responsibility of the board members to make sure the mission of the school is carried out by the leader’s, teachers, and parents. To fulfill this mission we must provide an outstanding curriculum and environment that fosters creativity, and an understanding of how our “reformed” perspective prepares us for all of life.
I graduated from Timothy Christian in 1975, from Calvin College in 1979, and received my MBA from DePaul University in 1984. My wife, Linda, and I have been married for 20 years, and we have two children at Timothy and one Timothy graduate. We live in Oak Brook, and are members of Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church.
