Boy's Varsity Basketball - Outstanding Season Ends at

Super-Sectionals

The incredible ride in the state tournament ended on Tuesday night with a 70-55 loss to top ranked Hales Franciscan. The Trojans battled the entire game. At the end of the first quarter, the Trojans only trailed by two points. The second quarter was also back and forth and the Trojans were only behind by a couple of points at the end of the quarter. Hales hit back-to-back 3 point baskets to increase their lead to 33-26 at the half. Hales came out blazing in the 3rd quarter and built their lead to 15 points. The Trojans battled once again and closed the gap to 7 but each time the Trojans battled back, Hales also had an answer.

Coach LeGrand is very proud of the Trojans as they fought hard the entire game. Thank you to the Red Zone and the entire Timothy Christian Community for the support during this magical season and state tournament run. This team has made history and seniors Daihee Cho, Reggie Greenwood, Justin Peeples, Rob Stein, and Donte Williams will be missed. They have made a solid imprint on our Timothy Christian Basketball Program.
