Octoberfest 2009
"It's time to put on makeup; it's time to dress up right. It's time to meet the students at Octoberfest tonight!"
As is a long-standing tradition at Octoberfest, the bare-footed freshmen class took the stage and kicked off "Toonfest" with a song from The Muppet Show. This year, the students and TC staff brought the audience on a journey through cartoon songs. The students put their own spin on such classics as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Flintstones, Spiderman, Veggie Tales, Scooby Doo and numerous Disney tunes. Staff performances proved once again to be crowd pleasers with appearances by Underdog, Popeye & Olive and the downright creepy Addams Family.
Colorful sets, costumes and cookies helped make the evening complete. Cartoons and kids... a perfect combination for a fun-filled show!
