TC Offering Free Self-Defense Class
Earlier this year, our high school students had the opportunity to work with Mr. Peter Juska during their P.E. Classes to learn some self-defense techniques.. Mr. Juska has a diverse background in many of the martial arts and almost 20 year's experience. He has taught local law enforcement groups, US Air Marshals and FBI. He currently teaches at Counterstrike MMA Academy in Downers Grove IL.
We are pleased to offer an hour long free class, Self-Defense 101 with Instructor Pete Juska here at Timothy Christian School. This event will take place on Wednesday evening, February 8, beginning at 5 pm.
Mr. Juska will cover basic self-defense techniques and concepts for both men and women that are currently being used by top law enforcement agencies. He will also cover general safety and a few surprises along the way.
This event is for all ages. Please dress comfortable. Participation in not required, you can just watch and take it all in. This is a FREE event and space is limited. You must RSVP by February 6 to Ryan DeKoekKoek at dekoekkoek@timothychristian.com if you plan to attend.
