Octoberfest - 2011 - "CenturyFest"

Octoberfest is an annual, much-loved tradition at Timothy Christian Schools. Each year is a different theme that brings out the child in all of us. This year's theme is CenturyFest, honoring TC's 100th Anniversary. The students will be performing songs from each decade of the last 100 years. This year's performances take place on Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24 in the Huizenga auditorium at 7 pm.
If you have a student participating in Octoberfest, you can click here for the practice/performance schedule.
Ticket Ordering:
Tickets are SOLD OUT. If you'd like to be placed on a waiting list for possible tickets, please contact Thelene Tornow at 630-833-7575 ext. 222 or send her an email to tornow@timothychristian.com
Octoberfest reminder from the school administration: Children ages 10 and above must sit in regular seats during the show. PLEASE do not allow your children who are 10 and older (4th grade and up) to go down to the stage. We will have teachers in the front row helping us maintain order this year, and we will ask those older than 10 to return to their seats with you. Thank you for your cooperation; we want to make sure everyone stays safe during these performances..
The high school Fine Arts team needs your help!
We are looking for parents of high school students in Octoberfest to volunteer to set up, serve, and clean up the refreshments during the show. A team of 6-10 adults each night would be ideal.
Please note, you would NOT be able to see the show the night you would serve—we would be asking you to offer us your time and effort on the alternate night. (Parents of freshmen: you’ll have to drive your son/daughter to and from the show each night anyway….would you consider helping us one night?)
If you would be willing to help us with this, or if you have any questions about what this would entail, please either call Thelene Tornow at 630-833-7575 ext. 222 or send her an email to tornow@timothychristian.com
