My wife and I are heavily invested in Timothy Christian Schools. We have four children sprinkled throughout the system and between school, music and sports activities we occasionally feel as though we live at the school. As long as I can remember our families have been involved with the local Christian schools, either serving on boards, teaching or serving as administrators. That family heritage is a significant part of our lives, and I look forward to continuing that tradition.

Every day I meet with individuals and organizations to discuss their financial needs and concerns and then create and implement financial solutions that help them meet those needs. Board members must be able to listen to its constituency, discern the important from the urgent, and implement the programs that best meet the community and students needs.

I graduated from Calvin College (Grand Rapids, MI) in 1987 and hold Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from The American College, Bryn Maw PA. I am also a Member of the Million Dollar Round Table; Advanced Association of Life Underwriters, previous director for the Chicago SFSP Board, and Treasurer for the Hillside Berkeley United Way chapter. My position now is Financial Representative for New England Financial Services.

I have also served as a Deacon and Treasurer for Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church, and now serve as the President of the Roseland Christian School Foundation.
