Bob Stoll
I’m motivated to serve because I have personally seen the benefits of a Christian education in my own life. This Christian foundation, which is built by a combination of home, church and school, affects how I interact in real life experiences. Because of this, I think it’s critical that not only my children, but all of the children at Timothy receive the best Christian education available.
The strengths I have that I could bring to the Board are that of leadership, organization, problem solving and project management.
Marrying into a family of Christian educators has given me an interesting perspective. I have seen the commitment first hand that goes into teaching our children and the genuine love that the faculty has for them. They teach because they want to and they’ve chosen to do it from a Christian perspective. I believe it is the responsibility of the Board to enable these teachers and to hold the standards of Christian education at an extremely high level.
I have been employed by Metavante Corporation for the last 11 years and currently serve as the Operations Manager. My wife, Barb (Bosman) and I have four daughters, three of whom are currently at Timothy: Kacie (5th grade), Rachel (2nd grade), Sarah (preschool) and Anna (6 months). I grew up in this area having attended Trinity Lutheran School in Lombard through 8th grade and then attending Timothy for High School. I met my wife at Timothy where we both graduated in 1987. I went on to graduate from Trinity Christian College in 1992 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Our family lives in Lombard and we are members of Elmhurst Christian Reformed church.
