Robert Van Staalduinen
Robert J. Van Staalduinen has served on the Board for the past three years. He has also served as deacon and elder at Lombard Christian Reformed Church where he has been a member since 1984. He and his wife, Elaine, have five children, three of whom have completed their education at Timothy and two of whom are attending currently. He is founder of Knollcrest Funeral Home in Lombard.
“The values of Christian education were not taken lightly in my home growing up. As a child of a minister, we moved a lot, but with each move, I continued to attend a Christian school. I have been a Timothy dad since 1984 and will continue to be one until 2017. This gives me a perspective on our past and a hope for our future that I believe is necessary to help guide the direction of the school.
I have served on the Timothy Board for the last three years, and have enjoyed the challenges and opportunities we faced. I look forward to once again representing the Timothy community by upholding our high standard of academics, encouraging growth, and challenging us to continue to raise the bar in every realm at Timothy. But most importantly, I want to continue to serve and guide our school in training our covenant children to be world changers, light bringers, and salt shakers. I believe a solid foundation in education that shows how God is in all areas of the world, provided within a community of love and understanding, will give these students the strength to be all that God intends for each of our children.”
