Personal Profile
I grew up in this community and went to Timothy from Kindergarten (Mrs. Bolt) through High School. When at Trinity Christian College, I did my student teaching at Timothy under Mr. Bosman and Mr. Senti. Then I taught middle school for four years in LaFayett, Indiana and two years in Orlando Florida.
I have been teaching 5th grade at Timothy since 1988 and my wife, Becky, has been teaching Kindergarten here since 1985. We are both members of Faith CRC in Elmhurst.
Professional Profile
Teaching was never the road I thought I would travel, but it has become quite a trip. After graduating from Timothy, I graduated from the education department at Trinity Christian College (Palos Heights) and later finished my masters degree at Concordia (River Forest). I have appreciated the many people that I have met on this road that have been so dedicated to Christian Education.
Philosophical Profile
It's all God's... the universe to discover, our talents, our struggles, our understanding of each other, our path in life with Him leading. When, through education, a student can see God as obvious in every part of Creation, his/her life is changed forever.
Jeremiah 33:3-
