A group of superintendents from China who work in early childhood centers spent the morning of October 10 at TC to observe and learn more about developmentally appropriate practice in our preschool, kindergarten, and 1st grade classrooms. Concordia University had recommended they visit TC’s early childhood classrooms as part of an Early Childhood Conference they are attending.

After observing, the group stayed for discussion with a teacher and administrator to learn more about our approach to transitioning students from grade-to-grade and about the assessments we use to inform our instruction.

Our students gave them a warm welcome, and the guests expressed their enthusiasm for the high quality teaching and resources at TC!
