Life in 8th Grade
Eighth grade is a major time of growth for our students academically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Through a wide range of activities both inside and outside the classroom, we strive to build up “academically prepared Christian disciples” who will “transform” their world for Christ.
From our class retreat at the beginning of each year, to daily interactions, to the final celebration of a successful year at Great America, we encourage our students to express God’s love to each other by building strong relationships with their peers.
We believe that positive interactions with like-minded believers will prepare them to impact an unbelieving world. Additionally, our strong academic emphasis bridges the gap between elementary school and high school by encouraging greater independence, responsibility, and higher-level thinking skills making for a successful secondary career.
