Homecoming - 2008
Homecoming at Timothy is an exciting time and this year was no exception. The students celebrated Spirit Week with different dress-up days, decorated theme hallways, and a Pep Rally on Friday where Mr. Hersey proved once again that the boy can rap!
The games on Friday were packed with an enthusiastic crowd who cheered two of our teams to victory. After the Varsity Girls’ game, the lights were dimmed and the Homecoming Court was presented, with the crowning of Candace Wieringa as Queen and Joel Sytsma as King. As the lights came back on, the team warmed up on the court. The Concert Choir sang the National Anthem and the game began. During half-time of the Varsity Boys’ game, the TC Pommers along with their Dads performed a Sports routine. Next up was the TC Cheerleaders with incredible stunts and dance moves.
After the 3rd quarter, the Varsity Girls B-Ball Team performed a fun routine to "It's Gonna be Me", proving that female athletes CAN dance! The week ended with the Homecoming Dance for the high school students on Saturday at the Ashton Place.
