Technology Program
Each class in grades 1-6 visits the Computer Lab for 30 minutes each week. In the lab, we have 28 Computers with a Disk & DVD Drive/Burner, Internet access, a printer, scanner and projector. The computers have many educational games that reinforce what is taught in the classroom as well as Microsoft Programs such as Paint, Word and Power Point.. Only students in grades 4-6 receive a grade on their report card for Computer, which is based on behavior, attitude and knowledge of lessons being taught. In addition to the above-mentioned programs, we also cover how to use the Internet and On-Line Safety..
In today’s technology driven world, we want our students to be well-informed and well-educated when it comes to computer and Internet usage. A question we try to keep before our students is….as Christians, how can we responsibly use the Internet and use our Computer Skills to honor Him?
