Glenbard South set to join the MSC
The Metro Suburban Conference was established in 2006 with four original members: Elmwood Park High School (Elmwood Park), Fenton High School (Bensenville), Ridgewood High School (Norridge) and Riverside-Brookfield High School (Riverside). In 2009-2010 the Metro Suburban Conference welcomed Illiana Christian (Lansing) and Timothy Christian (Elmhurst).
Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn) will be joining the Metro Suburban Conference beginning in the 2010-2011 school year. They will be competing in the following sports: (Fall) Boys and Girls Cross-Country, Girls Volleyball, Boys Soccer, Girls Tennis, Golf, (Winter) Boys and Girls Basketball, Competitive Cheerleading, Wrestling,(Spring) Boys and Girls Track, Girls Soccer, Baseball, Softball and Boys Tennis. Glenbard South Football will be added to the MSC in 2011.
The addition of Glenbard South brings a total of 7 Schools to the Metro Suburban Conference. The MSC is still looking for additional member schools. If other area schools are interested in becoming a member of the MSC, please contact Todd Leden, Principal of Fenton High School at (630) 860-6250.
