5/20/09 - vs. Immaculate Conception - L-1-0

We tried our best yesterday but just couldn't pull off a win.  One unearned run gave IC the victory. 

Timothy's final record: 16-12

5/14/09 - vs. Chicago Christian - L-1-0

Timothy lost a close game to CCHS today.    Our defense was stellar, we just didn't produce enough hits to take the win.  Overall it feels good to split with Chicago Christian and play such a close game today.  When we beat them on Tuesday we had not done so as a softball program since 1995.  Tied for second place is the highest we have gotten in PSL in a very long time.  We are pleased with those results.  We look forward to starting regionals next week.

5/12/09 - vs. Chicago Christian - W-6-1

Timothy started scoring in the first inning and didn't look back.  The girls did a great job of staying in every inning and playing together as a team.  Kari LeGrand starting a hitting spree in the 7th with a homerun.  Timothy is now tied for second with Chicago Christian in the PSL.  It has been at least 6 years since we have beat CCHS if  not more.

5/11/09 - vs. Luther South - DH- W-12-0; W-15-4

Timothy had great games today.  We took two more wins increase our PSL record to 11-2.

5/9/09 - vs. Illiana - L-8-5

5/7/09 - vs. Walther Lutheran - W-11-0

The girls really wanted a win tonight and we have never won more than 9 games in the PSL.  We started the scoring right away and just kept chipping away at Walther.  It was a great team effort!

5/5/09 - vs. Walther Lutheran - W-8-7

Timothy did a great job of winning a conference game against Walther Lutheran. Some timely hitting and great pitching got the Trojans a win.

Timothy's overall record: 12-8, 8-0 in PSL.

5/2/09 - vs. Wheaton Academy - DH- W-10-0; W-6-0

Timothy had a great day at the ballpark.  We strung our hits together to win 10-0 in 5 innings in the first game.  The second game we did well and won 6-0.  Strodtman was the lead hitter today going 2-2 with 3 RBIs in the first game and 2-4 with 2 RBIs in the second game. Emma Heyboer had 3 RBIs in the second game as well.

4/29/09 - vs. Aurora Christian - W-4-0
Timothy Christian beat Aurora Christian in a conference game.  Timothy's record is 9-8, 5-0 in conference.

4/28/09 - vs. Aurora Christian - W-9-1

4/25/09 - DH vs. Immaculate Conception - W-5-4; L-3-7

4/23/09 - vs. Proviso West - W-15-0

It was a great game by Timothy Christian.  We strung several hits together and played solid defense.  Christina Lemon contributed with a grand slam and Janna Strodtman also had a homerun.

4/18/09 - DH -Varsity Softball vs. Lisle - L-4-2; L-2-0

4/17/09 - Varsity Softball vs. Westminster Christian - W-14-0

Timothy beat Westminster Christian in a conference game 14-0.  Timothy's overall record 4-5, 3-0 in PSL.  Janna Strodtman had 5 RBIs for the day with 2 triples. She allowed only 1 hit.

4/15/09 - Varsity Softball vs. Luther North - W-12-2
We had some great hits that helped us beat Luther N. 12-2 in 5 innings despite the poor field conditions.  Overall it was a great game to Timothy Christian.

4/9/09 - Varsity Softball vs. Ridgewood - L-10-3
It was a tough game with Ridgewood scoring many runs in the beginning of the game. The girls held on and shut them down in after the third while fighting back the entire game.

4/8/09 - Varsity Softball vs. Wheaton St. Francis - L-9-2

4/7/09 - Varsity Softball vs. St. Edwards - L-4-5

3/26 - Varsity Softball vs. Aurora Christian - W-3-0

It was a great game today.  Everyone pulled together to get the win.  We were strong defensively and had some great hits. 

3/24 - Varsity Softball vs. Fenton - L-8-7

It was a tough game due to the weather, but we tried hard the whole game.  The girls fought to the last out of the 7th and with 2 runners on we just couldn't get that tying run in.
