Mr. Kyle Vander Brug
I was born and raised in Whitinsville, Massachusetts. I went to Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and graduated in 1985 with a Business degree. At Calvin I met my wife Sheri (Blauw) who is a Timothy graduate. I work as an Insurance Agent for Allstate Insurance Company.
We live in Elmhurst and have three children attending Timothy: , Lindsay (12th grade), Tyler (8th grade), and Connor (6rd grade), and Marcus, a recent Timothy grad.
Our family attends Elmhurst CRC where I have served as a Sunday school teacher, small group leader, Deacon and currently on the Christian Education Committee.
Having attended Christian schools for most of my education, I recognize the value of a Christ centered education. It is truly an investment in our children's future as well as the future of our society. Our children are exposed to so much in today's world, but knowing that they are being taught from a Christian perspective by Christian faculty and staff is a huge comfort. I welcome the opportunity to serve and I believe I can draw on my experiences in running my own Insurance office and interacting with many clients to assist the TCS Board in any way that I can.
