Mr. Dan Westra
I am honored to be a nominee for the Timothy Christian School Board of Directors. My family, Cindy (wife), Tracy (2nd grade), Heidi (1st grade) and Jason (PK) are members of Western Springs CRC. I am employed at Resource Management Companies as the General Manager. Besides family and work, I enjoy most sporting activities, especially golf.
I graduated from Central Wisconsin Christian High School in Waupun, WI and also from Trinity Christian College. I am truly grateful for the Christian education that I received at these institutions. The opportunity to serve on this school board would be a wonderful and rewarding experience as you get to be involved in the development and shaping of so many young people.
During my time at Western Springs CRC I have served on council as a deacon, administration committee, finance committee, education committee and am currently a cadet counselor. I believe that these experiences along with the daily management duties of work would allow me to be a valuable part of the board.
The Lord has richly blessed us and the ability to help continue to build his kingdom would be a wonderful opportunity. I see a tremendous responsibility for board members to make sure the mission of the school is followed. In order for this to happen they need to be involved in all aspects of the school and its functions.
