Monday, October 8 is the official kick-off of the Timothy Fund Drive.
What is the Timothy Fund?
Every year we conduct an annual fund drive called the Timothy Fund. The Timothy Fund is a vital component of the school’s finances because tuition does not cover all the day-to-day costs of operating our school. It helps support our academic programs, extracurricular activities, and our teachers.
How does the Timothy Fund impact tuition?
Over the past seven years we have raised $3.5 million for the Timothy Fund, which equates to over $3,300 for each student over that span of time. Since tuition does not cover the full cost of educating each child, the Timothy Fund helps fill the gap between tuition and the actual cost. The Timothy Fund also helps us offer financial assistance to families in need.
What is the goal for the Timothy Fund this year?
Our goal is to raise $550,000. We know this will be a challenge. But last year, due to the generosity and support of our school community, we were able to meet and exceed our goal with gifts from over 2,900 donors. We received gifts from parents, alumni, grandparents, businesses, and matching gift programs sponsored by corporations and constituent businesses.
Will my donation matter?
Yes! Every dollar donated moves us one step closer to our goal. There is no amount too big or too small. It is our mission to educate the whole child—mind, body, and soul—to be academically prepared disciples of Christ.
How do I give to the Timothy Fund?
We sincerely appreciate your support. We want to be good stewards of your donations, so the Timothy Fund Drive is being initiated and managed with minimal costs to the school. To donate by check, please make your checks payable to Timothy Christian Schools and drop-off or mail to the business office.
