So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him,
rooted and built up in him, strengthened in faith as you were taught,
and overflowing with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6-7

Timothy Christian’s middle school graduation took place the evening of May 24, 2018. Mrs. Linda Fox, parent of a graduate, opened in prayer. She was followed by a vocal ensemble consisting of Mia Battista, Kenna Tolman, Michal Tolman and Emma Vega who harmonized beautifully on the song “Hold Fast to Your Dreams.”

Class Honors (see below) were given and then the recipients of the Christian Leadership Award, Andrea Torres and David Sianghio, spoke to the graduates. They thanked teachers, parents, and noted that they are the first graduating class to enjoy the new middle school building. They also shared funny stories from their years as a Timothy student.

Mr. Kevin Smith, parent of one of a graduate, gave the reflection and challenge. He spoke to the crowd about embracing a Sabbath rest in Christ. He reminded the students to stay rooted in Christ. His final words encouraged our graduates to see themselves in the arms of a loving God as the move forward into their future.

Bibles and diplomas were distributed by school board members and after a prayer by Mrs. Diana DeBoer, parent of a graduate, the students and their families headed to the gymnasium for a time of photos, congratulations and refreshments.

Congratulations to the middle school class of 2018!
