Weekly Chapel

Chapel is an important part of student life at timothy.

There’s nothing more powerful in the development of a child’s faith than worship. That’s why chapel is such an important part of the week at Timothy. Chapels are a time to worship, pray, and hear God’s Word. It’s also a time for community. We want our students to actively engage in chapel and in the development of their faith. So not only are chapels age appropriate, but we pair our youngest students with older elementary school students as chapel buddies. They sit together, worship together, and develop friendships. Starting in middle school, the chapel praise band is student led. It’s just another powerful way to engage students.

In high school, students not only meet to worship together in chapel, but they are placed in small groups. These small groups serve as a place where students can talk about their faith and pray together.

At Timothy we believe God has a mighty purpose and adventure for the lives of our students. Nothing will be impossible for them as they live out that purpose for His glory. Teaching students the importance of worship and how to actively participate is just another way Timothy develops the next generation of courageous leaders for Christ. From the classroom to chapel everything we do is all for the glory of God!

Chapel buddies!
