Not only does Timothy offer excellence-driven business classes, but students will have the opportunity to participate in Timothy’s nationally ranked VEI and DECA programs. Plus, students gain real-world experience through internships.

Careers in government and public administration relate to planning and performing government functions at the local, state, and federal levels, including governance, national security, foreign service, planning, revenue and taxation, and regulations. A primary goal of virtually all careers in public service is to help improve the quality of life and livelihood for the citizens represented, while supporting the betterment of the overall community.

The healthcare industry is booming. Timothy’s rigorous, excellence-driven program of academics prepares students to gain admission into selective colleges and universities. From AP to Dual Enrollment courses, students can graduate from high school well on their way to earning college credit.

Do you want to be a part of the crew at restaurants, recreation locations, or travel destinations? Then a career in hospitality and tourism may be a good fit for you. Careers in the hospitality and tourism cluster relate to the management, marketing, and operations of restaurants and other food services, lodging, attractions, recreation events, and travel-related services.

A career in Health and Human Services includes meeting needs through counseling and mental health services, family and community services, and personal care, among others. Through internships, service projects (both domestic and abroad), and a host of classes, Timothy will prepare you for a successful and meaningful career.

Marketing & Communications incorporates critical thinking, data analysis, and  creativity to prepare marketing plans for organizations of all types and sizes. At Timothy, students have the opportunity to take creative classes like Graphic Design and data-driven classes like economics. The broad range of classes sets Timothy students up for future success.

At Timothy, there’s no shortage of opportunities to practice and hone your God-given artistic gifts and talents. From performing on stage in musicals like Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, to competing at ILMEA (Illinois Music Education Association), or taking a screenwriting course, Timothy students are mentored and supported to share their artistic passion.

Careers in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math cluster relate to planning, managing, and providing scientific research and professional and technical services, such as laboratory and testing services and research and development services. The STEM career cluster centers on applying scientific methods, new technologies, and creative problem-solving skills. Careers in this cluster offer opportunities for inventive, science, and data-loving minds to solve complex problems for a wide variety of products and industries.

Visual artists enjoy a creative career. Working in visual arts can span multiple industries, including entertainment, fashion, and marketing. From AP Studio Art to working in the dark room, Timothy students are prepared for a multitude of creative careers.
