Timothy Christian Middle School Curriculum
At Timothy Christian Schools, our middle school program provides a transformative, Christ-centered education that nurtures academic growth, spiritual development, and personal discovery. Through differentiated instruction, workshop model classrooms, and individualized attention, students are encouraged to think critically, communicate effectively, and uncover their God-given talents. A unique Focus Period three days a week allows students to prioritize studies, collaborate with teachers and peers, and engage in STREAM activities or chapel band.
With a strong foundation in core subjects—including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies—students develop essential skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication. Our curriculum emphasizes deep comprehension, logical reasoning, and real-world applications, preparing students for future academic success. Spiritual growth is woven into every aspect of student life through daily devotions, Bible classes, chapel assemblies, and meaningful mentorship. Crew Groups, small Bible study sessions led by high school students, foster discipleship and encourage students to live out their faith. With a well-rounded curriculum, diverse elective offerings, and an emphasis on leadership and character development, Timothy Christian equips students to excel academically, grow spiritually, and step confidently into high school as compassionate, Christ-honoring leaders.

Two middle school students placed in the top 15 at the IESA State Meet and received All-State honors!
Megan Lumkes, Kaitlyn Pergande, Lyla Plaisier, and Luke Cudney competed in the IESA State Cross Country meet for the first time in Timothy’s history. It was a beautiful day in Normal, Illinois and our four runners all ran great! They all posted their best time of the year against great competition (there were 223 runners in each race). Lyla (6th place) and Kaitlyn (15th place) ran exceptionally well and both were named All-State! Congratulations Megan, Kaitlyn, Lyla, and Luke on a great meet and a great season.
