Middle School

Go Beyond Growing Minds; Transform Hearts

At Timothy Christian Schools, our 6th-8th middle school program is a transformative experience that nurtures academic growth, spiritual development, and personal discovery in a Christ-centered environment. Building on the strong foundation of the elementary years, we offer a personalized academic journey through differentiated instruction and workshop model classrooms. Teachers provide individualized attention to help students uncover their God-given talents and equip them to thrive. A unique Focus Period three days a week allows students to prioritize studies, collaborate with teachers and peers, prepare for tests, or participate in engaging STREAM activities and chapel band.

Spiritual growth is integral to our mission, with daily devotions, Bible classes, chapel assemblies, and meaningful interactions with teachers and peers. Crew Groups, small Bible study sessions led by high school students, encourage discipleship through discussions and activities, helping students live out their faith. At Timothy Christian, we are dedicated to developing the whole student, ensuring they are well-prepared for high school and beyond while deepening their relationship with God.

Middle School News!

Two middle school students placed in the top 15 at the IESA State Meet and received All-State honors!

Megan Lumkes, Kaitlyn Pergande, Lyla Plaisier, and Luke Cudney competed in the IESA State Cross Country meet for the first time in Timothy’s history. It was a beautiful day in Normal, Illinois and our four runners all ran great! They all posted their best time of the year against great competition (there were 223 runners in each race). Lyla (6th place) and Kaitlyn (15th place) ran exceptionally well and both were named All-State! Congratulations Megan, Kaitlyn, Lyla, and Luke on a great meet and a great season.
