Timothy celebrated the joy of reading this Wednesday by rolling out the red carpet for the second annual Timothy Readers’ Choice Awards.
Commencement exercises were held for the Timothy Christian High School Class of 2017 on Sunday, May 21 at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church.
We have several Board members finishing their term this year. Although some will stay on for another term, others are departing from their role on the Board. Please take a moment to review the “bio” of these outgoing Board members…and be sure to say “thanks” the next time you see them. God has used each of them in mighty ways.
Each year, Timothy has the sad task of saying farewell to staff members who are leaving. This year, we say goodbye to these folks. We wish them God's blessings as they continue to serve Him in other places and ways.

Seventy-five Middle School students will take the stage this Thursday evening for the Middle School graduation. The event takes place in the Huizenga Auditorium at 7:30 pm. Please note, this is a ticket-only event.

Our staff and students had a blast at Field Day, which took place on Friday, May 12.
The Timothy Girls’ Track team competed at Sectionals the evening of May 11. Despite only bringing 12 competitors, the team had a great meet, finishing 3rd overall.
The middle school track season wrapped up last week Tuesday with the league meet at Christian Liberty Academy. The athletes ran and jumped well, many getting their personal best at the big meet! The boys team finished 1st out of 7 schools, and the girls team finished 3rd.
We are happy to announce that Timothy has partnered with Ring to launch an exciting fundraiser for our school!

We are thankful to report that we have received an all-time record $147,000 in gifts from over 2,500 donors from across the country. We now have our sights set on meeting and exceeding our stretch goal of $150,000 set earlier this year.
Fifteen of our 7th and 8th graders participated in the Trinity Christian College math triathlon last Thursday, April 20th. They competed in an individual event, team event, and relay race, and placed 1st out of 23 schools!
The weekend of April 6, the TCHS Robotics Team competed in the VEX U.S. Open National Competition, held in Council Bluffs
The 7th annual Jog-a-thon continues at a great pace. We are thankful to report that we have received over $115,000 in gifts from over 2,100 donors from across the country.
Praise God for he has done it! Our second Taste of Timothy was another huge success and a great celebration! Attended by over 200 people, guests enjoyed food from France, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Asia, and a Dutch dessert table.
This spring, reading has really paid off for more than 70 students in grades 4-8. Each year, students in these grades are encouraged to participate in the Bluestem and Caudill reading program, which is promoted by the Illinois School Library Media Association.
On Saturday, March 18, 32 TCS 4th-6th grade singers along with Ms. DeJager joined the Anima – Glen Ellyn Children’s Choir Singest held at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church.
