Everybody Counts is a weeklong program designed to teach children about various disorders and disabilities, looking specifically at how people with disabilities overcome and live with certain obstacles in their daily lives. We have chosen Isaiah 64:8 as the theme for this week, which embraces the notion that each of us is special simply because God made us. Our hope is that students walk away from this week knowing we have all been given gifts we can use to glorify God in our own unique way, regardless of our differences. We have compiled various books, videos, and activities for the students to explore, in addition to the many excellent speakers we are lucky enough to have this year.
Everybody Counts week will take place on March 20th-24th, with a kick off chapel that took place on Friday, March 17th at 8:30 am featuring Bill Lodewyk as our speaker.
We are very excited to have the following speakers coming to share personal reflections and experiences with the students.
