Student Council President, National Honor Society member, Spanish Honor Society member, member of the Fine Arts Committee, member of the Octoberfest Committee, french horn player, freshman retreat leader, and DECA member: Dakota Tameling did it all. But out of all those activities, band was by far his favorite.
Matt Davidson started his career as a history and Bible teacher at Aurora Christian School. But no matter what his title has been the students and mission of Christian education have always come first. And Matt believes the only way to truly inspire students to follow Christ is through personal connections and speaking power into their lives.
Spiritual Emphasis Week at Timothy has become something so real and personal to me. It’s given me a renewed relationship and fear of our wonderful and indescribable God.
We have been called to educate, train, and equip our young people. We also aim to inspire our students. Sadly, the word “inspire” is not used very often in education. Simply stated: Building authentic and meaningful relationships with our students remains the best path to inspire them.
