The Raise Right Tuition Rebate Program (formerly Shop With Scrip and TRIP) is an easy way to reduce your tuition cost. When shopping on-line, in person, or at a restaurant, just switch your payment method to gift cards purchased through the program as opposed to paying with your debit/credit card. This simple move can effortlessly save you hundreds of dollars each year in tuition.
Families pay full face value for gift cards through the Raise Right program. By using our special enrollment code, our organization pays a lesser amount based on the “rebate/percent” offered. The difference between face value and the actual cost is immediate fundraising. Rather than keep the money, Timothy Christian will transfer the money earned into your family’s tuition account. Or, it can be held and applied at a later date if you are a future family.
Each January and May, Timothy Christian will apply your Raise Right funds to your student(s) tuition. If not needed, or if you are feeling generous, feel free to contact us about donating your Raise Right funds into the general Timothy Fund to help other needy families.
If you are a future Timothy Christian family, don’t delay! You can start earning funds for their Timothy education using Raise Right now. We will hold the tuition credit until your student enrolls.
Grandparents, family and friends can also participate in raising funds for your child’s tuition by setting up an account of their own and designating your student(s) to receive Raise Right funds for their purchases.
When funds are transferred in December and May, a small administrative fee of 5% will be deducted before the tuition credit is applied. (For example, if the tuition credit earned is $100, $5 will be deducted and $95 will be transferred). This covers all fees our school incurs as associated with the Raise Right program like shipping, etc. Please be aware that Timothy Christian applies Raise Right credits to reduce tuition only.
The rebate amount is the same any way you pay. Payments made via your bank account are charged a $0.15 fee per order, regardless of how many cards you purchase in that transaction. If using a credit card (Visa/Mastercard), a 2.6% fee is added to your total order. Checks are not acceptable forms of payment. Note: Raise Right payments are not tax-deductible as you are receiving full value of the amount paid (dollar for dollar).
All Raise Right orders must be placed online at raiseright.com or by using the Raise Right mobile app.
Gift cards are the same as cash, non-returnable and non-exchangeable. (Retailer discounts and increment amounts are subject to change without notice.) Please use the gift cards in a timely manner. Raise Right is not responsible for unused cards purchased for retailers no longer in business.
There are two kinds of gift cards: physical (hard plastic) and electronic. Electronic Gift Cards: Download and use the RaiseRight mobile app for the quickest and easiest way to receive your gift cards electronically & immediately. raiseright.com Simply share your screen with the cashier so she/he can scan it as payment on your purchase.

If you would like your cards sooner, or forgot to place your physical gift card order in time and don’t want to wait till next month, families may pay a shipping and handling fee to have Raise Right mail their order to their home. The fee is based on the number of gift cards in the order plus a postage fee, so the total shipping cost will vary. Standard orders will be sent using USPS, or families can upgrade to UPS. See website for more details.
If you would like your regular Raise Right orders sent home with a student, please email trip@timothychristian.com with your name, the student’s name and permission to send the orders with the student. We are not responsible for lost orders, so please consider this when deciding to have orders sent home.
It is your responsibility to notify the Raise Right coordinator of any changes to your account. For example, changing from current to future family. The change will take effect when we are notified via email to trip@timothychristian.com.
Although you will no longer be eligible to receive your Raise Right funds if you leave Timothy, your family will have 60 days after your departure to transfer your funds to another Timothy student. Just send an email to trip@timothychristian.com notifying us of the Timothy family to whom you want to transfer funds to. After 60 days, if we don’t hear from you your Raise Right credit will be deposited into the General Tuition Assistance account.
