Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. (Hebrews 12:1-3)

Timothy Christian’s middle school graduation took place the evening of May 30, 2019. Mrs. Heather Hopek, 8th grade science teacher, opened in prayer. She was followed by the class song “Finish the Race.”

Dr. Kirk Baker, parent of a graduate, Pastor of Young Adults at Moody Church, and Adjunct Professor of Applied Theology & Church Ministry at Moody Bible Institute, gave the reflection and challenge. Bibles and diplomas were distributed by school board members. Then students and their families headed to the gymnasium for a time of photos, congratulations and refreshments.

Congratulations to the middle school class of 2019!
