Typically, when our Middle School students arrive at school, they go to their lockers, retrieve their necessary items and head to class.
However, the morning of Monday, September 18 proved to be a little different! Instead, students cleaned out their lockers of all its’ content and headed over to their new middle school building across the drive.
They unpacked their belongings into the brand new lockers and then attended an orientation meeting, led by Dr. Hoeksema. He spoke about the sequoia trees and the importance of being rooted together to stand strong. The students were challenged to do the same as they moved forward through the year. They also enjoyed lunch in the new space, with their own cafeteria.
It was a milestone day and one that many have been waiting for with great anticipation.
Welcome home, middle school students, welcome home!
