The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall. The Music Man is an award winning family favorite over the years! Come one, come all!

Ice Cream Social on April 13 after 10 am performance
Join us on after the morning April 13 performance for an Old Town Iowa Ice Cream Social! We are raising funds for “This Little Light of Mine,” a fundraiser to upgrade the auditorium light system in the Huizenga Auditorium. This is still the original lighting system from 1985. Our ongoing goal is to upgrade to a fully energy efficient lighting system by Fall of 2020. This includes the installation of a new dimmer stack, the purchase LED compatible lighting and DMX cabling, and the purchase a new ETC Eos Element Lighting Board. Not only does this benefit our drama department but also any programming that uses our auditorium including ES/MS/HS chapels, Band/Choir/Orchestra concerts, ES programs and so much more.
Donations accepted online and at the door.
