 "This week we are increasing our use of student-targeted small group instruction for reading and math!  It’s requiring a lot of flexible creativity to launch this year’s edition of tier time, but despite the constraints, all students will spend time in groups each week based on their particular strengths and challenges in reading and in math, while following current safety protocols.  Classroom teachers, specialists, and classroom aides all share instruction during this time, so your child may mention a new teacher.  These groups allow us to provide more intervention, practice, challenge, and extension to meet individual student needs.  Our goal is to use data-driven decisions to encourage learning at higher levels for all students."
