Next week Monday (Nov. 9) we will have a modified lockdown drill at school. Students will remain in their seats to ensure social distancing. Because of this drill, we will not have a Bible lesson that day. The elearning schedule will reflect that.

E-learners - The office asked us to communicate the following: Saturday option for Picture Day: Nov. 7 from 9am to 10am. Pictures will be in the WAC gym. Please enter from Door 11 and exit through Door 13.

Here is an update on our curriculum for the week. 

• Math - We are continuing unit 3. We will be studying equivalent fractions and putting fractions in order by their size.
• Bible - We are continuing with our Bible stories about Joseph.
• Science - We are continuing our first science unit by studying the digestive, respiratory, and nervous systems of humans.
• Social Studies - We will resume social studies after our science unit is finished.
• Reading - We will continue to practice theme, character development, and making inferences during our reading lessons this week.
• Writing - Students will continue taking notes on and writing about the inventions of the Industrial Revolution.
• Spelling - We will have a spelling test Friday, Nov. 13. 
• Vocabulary/Grammar - We will be practicing commas with coordinating conjunctions (for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so) and our Flocabulary 5 unit. A quiz on these words will be on Friday.
