Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. Hebrews 10:23,24
I wish the whole world could experience the inspiration of Timothy Christian Schools. I am blessed every day by the testimony of our community. I’ve often wished there was a way for all of us to bless all of us so all of us could be blessed. (Not sure that is grammatically satisfactory…but hopefully you get the gist of it.) I have the amazing “front row” opportunity to frequently witness the spirit of Timothy at full strength, and this particular devotional will give everyone a similar opportunity.
Hebrews 10:23,24 is a passage that the Lord recently put in front of me. Yes, we can stand on the promises of God…and, yes, we should “think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.” So here’s the application for this devotional. It will only take a few moments! Talk as a family and agree upon a Bible verse to encourage and motivate the Timothy community. Write it on a piece of paper or make a poster (or get even more creative), and then write “Press On, Timothy!” on the same piece of paper. Once you have done this, take a picture of your kids or your entire family and post it on social media and tag Timothy Christian Schools. Feel free to send it to me, too (firstname.lastname@example.org). If it’s just you and your spouse…or even just you—no problem! Let’s all participate! I’ve attached a picture of my wife, Julie, and I with our encouragement to you.
I’ll make sure these images get out on full display! No excuses…I’m hoping for widespread participation.
Press On, Timothy!
