Good afternoon everyone,

As we head into this long weekend, I hope you are able to enjoy time with family and friends and get away from your desk a bit. Hopefully you are able to enjoy the outdoors this weekend and continue to soak in the last days of summer and warm weather! I was given the following quote this week that I think is applicable to us all right now: “Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you.” I hope you are able to unplug this weekend!

Just a few things to highlight:

1. Remote Learning Survey:  Thanks to those of you who have already completed this.  If you haven’t, please take a few minutes to do so.  Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
2. Keep your camera on!  This is an expectation in each class.  If teachers are not able to see your face the entire class period, you will begin to be marked absent for that class.  If you are having connectivity issues, please reach when you’re able too, but we need all students to have their camera on throughout each class period.  Thanks for your cooperation in this.
3. Using a 2nd screen (when necessary):  If you need to use a 2nd device to keep your camera on during class, please do so.  You should be able to use your cell phone to access Google Meets or another laptop, iPad, etc.  If you have questions, please let me know.
4. Bible passage for the week: Isaiah 40:10-11: So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
