Hi everyone,

I wanted to send you another newsletter after I did not send one last week. While I do not have much ‘news’ to tell you, I wanted to encourage you all to keep working hard! As we get through the initial ‘rush’ of the school year, now is the time to stay motivated, focused and organized. If you find yourself having any issues with these things, please let me know! The remote learning aids, Mrs. Kellough and Mrs. Hopek, are saying positive things about their meetings with you all, so please continue to respond in a timely manner to their emails and requests to have google meetings with you.

As I speak with teachers, one thing that keeps coming up is the need for you all to have your camera’s on 100% of the time in class. The teacher needs to know you are there and the school’s expectation is that you are present on camera throughout the duration of each class period. Also, if the teacher calls on you or asks you to reply in the chat feature of the class, you must do this. Please do not ignore the teacher. If you find yourself having internet problems, please be proactive to contact the school immediately. You can always call me at 630.782.4029, and I can then notify your teachers. Once you regain your internet connection, please be prompt in reaching out to your teachers to find out what you missed and to let them know you will be watching the recording at a later time.
