The 2021 Beyond the Classroom Auction closed with the high school choir {recorded} singing Great Is Thy Faithfulness, which is a long-standing Timothy tradition. But in no time in Timothy’s history have these words rung more true:

Great is Thy faithfulness, New mercies I see, All I have needed, Thy hand hath provided, Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me.

The auction (like everything else this year) looked different. Instead of gathering in a ballroom at a local hotel, we met under a beautiful tent in the Ward Athletic Center parking lot. Guests were treated to dinner by three different food trucks and STEAM coffee was there for after dinner coffee and dessert. It was a joyful night for the community to reconnect and the enthusiasm was contagious.

There was a food truck at the Timothy Christian Schools auction.

Yes, it’s true the auction (and just about everything this school year) looked different.

But God’s faithfulness has remained the same — steady and unchanged. And in no time in Timothy’s 110 year history has that been more evident than this year. In fact, God’s faithfulness to the Timothy community has been nothing short of miraculous.

The Timothy Christian High School band played at the auction.

The auction kicked off with Superintendent Matt Davidson announcing that not one, but two lead donors made generous contributions to Project IMPACT Phase 3 before the auction even started. One was in honor of Mr. Marty Ozinga, a dear friend of Timothy who went home to be with the Lord on April 26.

The outpouring of generosity by the Timothy community throughout the auction was not only humbling, but a testament to the commitment to Christ-centered, Biblically-based education. We are grateful to announce that we raised over $1.1MM at the auction! Thanks be to God!

a winner at the Timothy Christian Schools Auction.

The auction helped raise funds for Project IMPACT Phase 3 — a $10MM renovation of our high school (as of this moment we have a little over $8.6MM committed.) As part of our team here at Timothy, you have helped us to raise nearly $50MM for our school since 2010. Equally important, you have helped us remain debt free. Extraordinary!

Another table wins at the Timothy Christian Schools auction.

Thank you for supporting the mission of Timothy Christian Schools. The new high school renovation will help our teachers continue to uphold Biblical truth and ignite academic growth — all for the glory of God!

You can still contribute to the success of the auction and help us raise the remaining $1.4MM.  If you’d like to support Project IMPACT Phase 3, please click here.  If you have questions please contact Matt Davidson or Bob Venhousen.
