Merry Christmas, Team Timothy!

The words of the hymn “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” perfectly capture Timothy’s 114-year history. From the parents who founded our school in 1911 to the faithful generosity of the families and friends who support us today, Timothy’s story is defined by God’s faithfulness that continues through all generations. 

This year alone, God’s faithfulness has been evident in so many ways. Our students continue to thrive—academically and spiritually. Our elementary and middle schools earned three prestigious awards recognizing exceptional academic excellence: the Illinois Governor’s Blue Ribbon School Award, the National CAPE Blue Ribbon Award, and a nomination for the 2025 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education.

Together, these honors affirm what our community already knows: Timothy’s students thrive because of a Christ-centered community, an excellence-driven program of academics, and the unwavering partnership with our families.

That legacy of God’s faithfulness is equally clear in the high school. The high school previously earned the National Blue Ribbon in 2019. Speaking of our high school students, their average AP test score was an impressive 4.0—an extraordinary reflection of their diligence and the excellence of our faculty. Students also have more leadership opportunities than ever before through student-run businesses and our nationally recognized VEI and DECA programs.

But while these achievements are remarkable, we stand firmly on the ultimate Truth and virtue and values of the Bible. Everything we do here at Timothy—every award, every achievement—is for the glory of God!

For over a hundred years, faithful and generous donors have supported Timothy’s mission to uphold Biblical truth, ignite academic growth, and inspire courageous leadership.
